“ Service and ambiance are all so inviting with a hometown feel to this restaurant. You will be greeted with smiles and quick service. The food is always so tasty with more than seafood but kids plates too. The best part of this restaurant is the location along the water in Newburyport. It's always so much fun to walk around Newburyport after dining at the Starboard Galley. I highly recommend! ”

“ I am a lucky girl!! My boyfriend takes me to the best places. This restaurant has plenty of parking & is handicapped accessible. I was greeted by a wooden sailor when I walked in. The atmosphere is nautical. I love it. Dine in or out. Beautiful scenic water views. Many regulars who were super nice! Bartender, Paul was super nice! My boyfriend & I split a large onion ring appetizer...light & delicious. We also split a lobster pie with a salad & sweet potato fries. We were stuffed & very satisfied. The food is amazing! Private room for party of 20. Upstairs & downstairs. I have to say it...definitely one of my top ten! ”
“ Nice location in Newburyport with a view of the river next to the Coast Guard Station and inside the bar has several seats. Casual dining the waitress are very helpful and friendly bartender is also very good. The food was very good clam chowder was really good the steamers were excellent and the shrimp plate was just as good French fries were awesome cooked just right overall nice place to have a relaxing dinner. ”
